Endometriosis is the condition where cells similar to the ones in the lining of the womb, are found elsewhere in the body, most commonly within the pelvis (1). These cells respond to hormone fluctuations that occur across the menstrual cycle, which can cause pain and inflammation in the surrounding tissue (2). Endometriosis is a chronic, life-long condition with varying degrees of disease and symptoms. In this article, we'll be exploring the symptoms and some of the food and nutrients that can support these symptoms.

We are advocates for every type of movement, whatever works for you, to enable you to pursue health and feel the best version of yourself. That said, strength training will always be a staple in my professional recommendation to everyone and anyone. Whether you are a keen runner, a dancer, or a keen yogi, strength training in some shape or form will be the foundation of movement, longevity and injury prevention.
